Hi All,
I just joined the snow n mud community. I live in northern Alberta (Wabasca) and my friends and I love quading all around the area.

I am the Tourism Coordinator with the local MD and I would like to be able to establish the existing trails (for quads a& ski-doos) and create a map for residents and tourists.

Do you have any idea where I should begin? How do I start a local Trails Association? Should I go out with a GPS unit and start plotting the trails?

Any help would be appreciated!:)

I would start by getting in touch with the SRD in your area. A good relationship with them makes things alot easier. Plus someone there will know where to start the blizzard of paperwork that you will need to fill out to get anything done.
