New to quading

Hi everyone,
First I want to say hi too everyone.
I havent got on a quad in 20 years and that was in northern ontario. Now I live in Red deer and I have no idea what type of terrain, trails there are. I havent bought a quad yet because I am not sure whats out there. Should i go with a wider Side X side or a narrow 50" wide side X side because the trails dont accomodate any wider. I am also looking at riding normal trails that are not challenging.
Is there any reccomendations on whats best to ride and also where do we ride.
Also I have no friends out here that have the desire to ride quads, there more into sky jumping. So are there any clubs in red deer

Welcome, just head west to Rocky Mountain House or Caroline area, thousands of kilometers of trails right there in your back yard (at least for now).

Like said already west of you there are lots of trails. As for the SxS I prefer the narrow ones still but there are a lot more trails that you can take the wider ones on now since there are more around. Either one you will have fun with.

IMO stay away from the trail sxs's. Better off with a 60 or 64". When you get into the off camber you will appreciate not being on your side or roof.
