New to ATV'ing

Hello, I just purchased a 700 side x side and was wondering where a good place to go, by Rocky, for a trail ride?


Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!!

Not too familiar with the rocky area myself
But if you can make it out to Edson July 4th there's a GREAT rally going on, check the rally threads for details.
Its going to be the first rally I've ever been too, the best im told for new riders to "get their feet wet" so to speak
I'm going with my Honda Rancher 400, im sure theres going to be alot of side x sides out there too, few hundred machines make it out each year.

Well since you are new to ATV-ing then like Redboy said the Edson rally would be a excellent ride to do, trails are pretty easy, we had a Rhino there last year, and there are many others. As far as by Rocky Mountain House I would go to the Bighorn dam, 20 min W of Nordegg. Trails are not bad there to, at least south of the dam. You can pick up a map of the area at any gas station I think. The yellow trails are for ATV's(SXS's).
