New to AB, want to know where to ride.

Hello everyone! I m new here in Alberta since 2 1/2 yrs and now have time to do some activities. I live in Edmonton and don t know what the surrounding areas have to offer as I haven t been out of the city all that much. I have a 99 formula 670 dlx sitting in my back yard just sreaming at me but don t know where to start(trails,snowfall,land access, ect).I ve looked on the net but some of the best places are sometimes from personal experiences. Thanks for any info and have a excellent ride. Dan

For now I gotta stick to the trails till I get another sled or modify the one I have but thats for later. I figure around 2hrs of Edmonton would be just perfect.

Welcome to the club. You can try the Long Island Lake trail system. Nice trails. They are just north of Westlock, so about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs from Edm. Check out the Pembina Drift Busters sled club or the alberta snowmobile assoc web site. Should be some maps there.
