I just picked up my 09 M1000 and there is no way to carry gas with this thing!! Iwas wondering if anyone out there knew the best gas caddy besides the conventional style if there is any?
Any help would be awesome!!

Actually your sled has some holes on the side of the bumper to hook in bungie, ratchet, etc... Straps. Strap it on and your good. They do make a pad for your tunnel, and a fancier looking rack. Or you can go the aftermarket route. Aka Mountain Addiction Track Rack, etc.

Go down and see Kelly at A-Plus Machining. We had him do ours and he can custom water jet them for you right there. Just as cheap as the jobbers and you can set them up the way you want them.

WOW , there are 2 other guys i ride with and we all have those racks. We did use different rivets, alum VS steel. And little lock tight on the screws. never an issue... sounds like installer issue:beer:

I have gone to the Craigger Built system and Im very pleased. You can also get a small bag with 3 compartments.

X2. I have their 'gas can thingy' (that's waht it's called) and one of the larger bags. They make a great product that is so quick and easy to put on and take off. You may be able to get it a little cheaper through your local dealer but you can check it out here. Craigger Built, ATV Accessory, Snomobile and Dirt Bike Accessories, avalanche equipment at Craiger Built

Here are the pics of the custom gas racks we had done. Have to give credit to Badsled for initial design with his "Dragon"
