thinking about getting into Dwarf car racing.......anyone do this? it is more about the driver than the car since you can only have 150 HP..... thinking about a car like this. I used to race Karts so this is about the same.....they seem to be quicker on the track than the full size cars but way cheaper to run.....plus they use a GSX-R or a YAMY R1 engine.......

never done it but it looks like it'd be a ton of fun and cheap!

Is it maximum 150hp?

ya max 150..... it costs about $2000 bucks including traveling to and from the races and tires and parts per year......unless you crash hard.......cars are $5000-$13500 brand new turn key! very nice used ones are $8500-$9500.........and they fly....

that would be a good time

well it was great watching them.......it would be even better driving....lol....I almost put the truck in the "King of the Hill" race but my boy had no one to sit with and was not going to leave him sit by him self........this is how kids go missing!......the guy who won the king of the hill hit his talon into the wall........it was just a great night at the races.........but the dwarf car racing is cheap and great competition.....just all around fun......I spend alot at the karts in kelowna but it can be a tax right off if I own and race the car......advertising! lol

I've seen them run in Calgary. I believe they were running faster lap times than the Cascar cars. They haul the mail bigtime.:beer:

fairly cheap to run, but lots of travel involved and you have to consider trailer etc. Way cheaper than our car though.

Here is phooto of our 2011 car

You can go to "www.legendscars.ca" Overkill and they have a schedule that runs in Alberta and Sask. I had a friend that ran those cars and I am pretty sure they run in B.C. as well. The season opener is May14th in Wetaskiwan, Alta. so you better get her flanged up and ready to roll. Lol.:):beer:

Ok, first off they are not dwarf's they are little people...... When you get to know them well enough you can call them hobbits like we do with bogger and plio7.... Lets not insult people now, unless you want to build a rainbow wedgy midget car......
