If you go to a Doo dealership, they will send it to Quebec and they have a exchange program for cranks. They are drop in ready to go. The dealer will take your used one as a core, depending on the condition its a pretty good savings. Did this with my ski-doo's before. Usually about three weeks return.

Had belt blow up and took out same seal with all the crap behind the clutch. Took seal out and bearing. Took apart and was able to get new bearing installed at Mots Machining was only a few days and alot cheaper then a new crank, 200 for bearings and about 100 to install if my memory is right

something must be wrong...his kits are great in the hills and i have not heard one negative feedback about those kits, most of the feedback is reduced clutch and belt heat?!?!

what is the physical condition of your clutches? which secondary spring are you running? belts blowing is caused by heat due to not enough
belt clamping force either clutch. heat can transfer through the belt into the other clutch aswell. you need more clamping force. try using the purple secondary spring for your secondary, if that is what came stock then replace it.

Put new purple spring with kit. Had 18 grams of weight in arms. Never did like the way it engaged and seemed to have no backshifting, always freewheeling coming down hills. Trying new roller secondary with Dalton 38-44 helix and about 16 grams on arms. Need some snow to see what it does.
