New Assaults compared to older ones

Not sure about the 09's. But i have owned an 11 assault, a 13 Pro Rmk, and have now went back to a 14 sno check assault. Top speed on my 14 is somewhere between 90-95mph. Probably 7-8 moh more than my 13. On the 14, belt will actually make it to the top of the primary where as on the 13 the belt would only reach about 3/4.

I had a 2009 and top speed was 68 mph get 72mph if I jumped on the hard pack.. it was bad always wanted more. so I guess they did change gearing. Im assuming 90 mph is with the powder track the old comp track wouldn't take that speed without lugs flying off.. Thanks for the info
It is with the comp track. Honestly i love this track compared to the stock powder tracks. Hook up is killer. Replacements are a dime a dozen.....cheap. I have always said i would put on a camo extreme but have just never gotten around to it.
In the mountains the only time i have found it to be a detriment is in the 2.5'-3' powder tupe of snow and even then it is only if you are trying to be the hillclimb champ, and that is not me.

My 2013 RMK Assault top speed is 83 mph on had pack

my 08 700 rmk almost did 90 mph. my 2014 pro rmk 163 does 73???? wtf... swear my speedo is out but i went 60 side by side with a guy on candle lake and dead even.

ya but you probably have more torque for the mountains.
