so just a deck and speakers, or do we want to do a couple 10" subs and stuff like that too?

i would buy it for $550......any deck will fit mike, dash kits are cheap and easy to get for those model chevy's......what ever you find just buy the proper wiring harness for the truck and the right dash kits an the deck is a 30min install, subs and amp are easy peasy from there

I think you can get the harness and adapter plates from Crutchfield if he goes that route.

i have personally found that visions, will usually beat just about anyone on the harnesses, and dash kits....but i think car audio gone wild is coming up right away is it not....might be the best option

I had a system put in my wife's past '98 Malibu, had it done at visions. But that was the last system I had put in, and we got rid of that POS in 2001.

i've dealt with them twice now, once they fixed the abortion of a job JB's power center did on my old sonoma, and they actually called JB's and argued with them to cover cost due to the shotty job that was done....and the last time then wired in my amp and sub off of my factory deck in the titan, super clean job, in and out in a few hours, both cheaper then any other quotes i got and i had zero problems with either system

I tried to find info on car audio gone wild and I can't seem to find any for this year. I meant to call Certified Radio to find out if its a go this year or not. I wanted to get a deck and some speakers for the new camper

i cant remeber if its usually in sping or fall....i think it may be a fallt hing now that i think of it cause it's their clear out of all the remaining stock
