Hey guys,

I have sold my 2006 Switchback 600, and am looking to get into something a little more deep snow specific with a bit more jam (around a 155) I want to stay with an IQ, and spend less than 7K on a new one. Here is what I am leaning toward...

- 2010 RMK 600 155 - $7000 - 350 miles - Piped, can, headlight delete, clutched, underseat bag etc.
- 2009 Assault 800 146 - $6800 - 1147 KM - new recalled motor, can, gas rack, etc.
- 2010 Polaris RMK 600 155 - $7500 - 900 miles - can, scratchers, stock mainly.
- 2009 Polaris Dragon 800 155 - $6500 - 2740 km, 450 kmon the new fix kit. Intake kit, storage bags.

All of these sleds appear quite clean and in good shape. Now, entering the dark side...

- 2008 Rev XP 800 154 - $7400 - 1600 km. Can, spare plastics (is completely black from yellow).

Ahhh!! I am really digging the 2010 RMK 600 for 7K. Its quite trick and looks new..

thoughts, comments! Concerns!! Things to watch out for??? I do know about the issues with the Polaris 800 and the fix kit.

Im not 100% but i think those Polaris 800s have a problem with the crank going, and you will probably end up wanting something bigger then a 600 so I'd go with the Rev if I was you .

That's the older edge chassis that had crank issues. The dragons have piston rocking issues, and oil pumps.

Oh I thought the dragons from 700 to 900 had the same crank problems that all the 900 dragons had but I'm could be wrong

Hmm. I would say sure, but 163 is a bit long for me. I hadn't really considered Doo, but I have to say, they look amazing, and a lot of guys seem to be pretty into them. The XP chassis I rode was very nimble, felt like I was riding a blade.

This is the XP: Rev-xp 800 - Grande Prairie Snowmobiles For Sale - Kijiji Grande Prairie Canada.

This 2010 XP is pretty sick too....2010 Skidoo XP - Grande Prairie Snowmobiles For Sale - Kijiji Grande Prairie Canada.

600 RMK 2010 Polaris RMK 600 155 2.4 - Grande Prairie Snowmobiles For Sale - Kijiji Grande Prairie Canada.

Assault (I dig this one!) 2009 Polaris 800 Assault RMK -146 - Grande Prairie Snowmobiles For Sale - Kijiji Grande Prairie Canada.

All of them sleds are up in grande prairie where the big oil money is! There's always someone who's willing to pay more than its worth. It'd certainly be a good deal to pick up a sled like yours. Especially if people realized how good your machines are taken care of.

$5000
'04 SkiDoo Summit X 800HO 162" - Red Deer Snowmobiles For Sale - Kijiji Red Deer Canada.
Honestly though I wouldn't be looking at any of those Polaris' you have listed. The Doo is a much better choice although there are ones better priced than that around. Quite a few decent priced Cat's around too!

I would, but the skulls are much too scary.

Im not a cat guy though! My buddy just bought a 2011 M8 Sno Pro. Didn't turn me on that much. That being said, I haven't ridden it either.

I dunno, this 600 is sounding pretty sweet. I mean, have you seen it! Your killing his sales pitch!

This sled is sweet! Gentle mountain miles, no tree smashes, no rocks, and well maintained. I've seen this sled in person and if I were a Poo guy I'd jump at this deal.

but work 'im, you make get it a little cheaper............:rolling:

Hey thanks. I think I am leaning away from the 800 though. I really don't feel like dealing with a blown motor, crank etc. Despite the fix, I think there are just too many issues.

FYI - I have an 07 600 Rev and an 06 800 RevX...both clean, perfect shape...not low mileage but all replaced/updated/super maintained. 600 is stock- hasn't missed a beat and has a new top end. 800 has some basic mods, porting, boards, can...
The 06X is a badass sled for the older platform. Both these sleds are diehards...not lemons. We've kept them both as backups cuz they're hard to part with...but it's time to clear out the garage. We'll sell them for what they're worth...
