Need help with mid 90s formula 500 fan cooled.

Buddy has a 500 fan cooled formula sl and one enricher plunger is stuck in a carb.

I've got it soaking in atf at the moment. What else can I do to remove it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the carb is flammable fluid free and apply a little bit of heat to the part where the plunger is. Can you get the cable off?

I can't get the cable off
I have been using a heat gun to apply some heat.

I can get a small flat head screw driver in the hole.

Is the part that threads into the carb body plastic or steel? If steel use a propane or butane torch.

Get it a little warm and put some candle wax down on it. You'd be amazed what that stuff will do. then lightly tap all around the area where the plunger is stuck while pulling on it.

If it becomes impossible to remove just add a primer to it rather than replacing the carb
