So I downloaded the TunerPro RT software on my laptop and tried accessing the mapping on my redline G2 box but i have no idea how to use the software - I tried emailing turbo performance for help but i dont think they want to help me because i told them how much i hate the g2 box - it's not waterproof - talked to rene in sicamous - he had to bring a second g2 box into the mountains with him to retrieve his turbo sled because his original g2 got water in it - the only help i get from Dave at redline is "crank up the boost" - i'm so frickin done with the redline box - had the g1 box with kit originally from TSS it didnt work very good - backfiring and eating the stock reeds in 500 kms - got sucked into the g2 with the fuel controller dial that is a huge pain in the ass - backfiring and eating carbon tech reeds at 500 kms - mainly because redline put a new s module in it in dec and left some vacuum lines dangling by just hammering the thing together in 4 days and kicking me out the door -took out the top end - took it to sled shop for insurance work - then redline informed bruno at the sled shop to hook up my boost hose to baro and boost from the box to nothing- or he misunderstood over the phone not sure - dave at powderlites got me figured out and dialed in - so now its time to drop kick the redline box in the trees and steer clear of sylvan lake at all cost and get better customer service from people 6000 kms away - I've got like 6 grand worth of receipts from redline but since it's a TSS kit i might as well throat punch myself - every 5 degree celcius change in outside temp i gotta adjust the god damn dial - gonna try the AFR box so that i can have bluetooth data logging on android so when something isn't working right i can troubleshoot it - so ya i just wanna get the current mapping bin onto my computer so i can email it -end RANT - pls help me stress to the MAX here

Connect to box. Click down blue arrow. You should hear
a beep once the map is loaded into the program. Click the "X" in the upper left hand corner to close the map on screen. Now go back and open "Table A". The map that appears is the one pulled from the box. From there maybe you can now do what you need.

I can't figure out why you had so many problems. I have the newer G3 box and it is the best out of all the boxes I have tried.

My guess is - the reason why there is generation 3 box is because generation 1 & 2 are complete garbage -- maybe the G3 is waterproof - hopefully - I'm done with redline - the fuel control dial is terrible - the only place I think it even adjusts fuel is at the top - only rode in sicamous and revvy this year and constantly have to mess with the dial to keep my afr @12.5

The gen 3 box is not better still same crap and gets wet. Ditch that 1980’s technology box and get a Boondocker box only way to go on a etec. Best thing I did was get rid of that g3 and got a Boondocker

Read up on this rig - I think this is by far superior to the boondocker - the Bluetooth android data logging is right where I wanna be with a TSS centre mount with a Garrett turbo

Let me know how David's Aurora Fuel Reactor works for you. I've heard nothing but good things from other guys with TSS turbos.

I would have to disagree with that statement. The old Dobek or Attitude Industries fuel boxes were maybe 1980's tech but not the Redline controller. The Redline box is fully tunable by the end user, and it has datalog capabilities. I have ran a lot of fuel boxes over the years and the Redline box is hands down the best. If you guys are having problems with these things getting wet you should look at installing them in a Pelican Box which will keep them dry.

I met Dave this past winter and he is a smart guy. His box looks to be very good too and if I was going to try something different it would be his.

That's a good idea - the pelican box - I might try that - I had to get wiring instructions off of turbo boyz.com and they are calling me Monday to help me with the software tunerproRT - some literature on the software and how to mess with your tuning for 2 stroke application would be amazing - I don't even know how to do the data logging - because it was all about taking my $ and punting me out the door

Bryce will help you out. I had to have him "dumb it down a bit" for me at first but now that I have it figured out it is no problem. I haven't messed with the data logging features at all. I take my laptop with me on my tuning ride and I am usually able to get it dialed in how I like fairly quickly.

Bryce is awesome - helped me out huge - remotely connected to my laptop and called me and stepped me through it - all I did was buy a set of reeds from him - I just wish I could have got a tutorial from redline 2yrs ago when I bought the box for $825+tax and got punted out the door - and in the past 2 yrs spent $4500 in his shop - live and learn I guess - he's now dead to me

Hard to follow the info a bit but this is a closed loop system build by dobec ?
Not too sure - you can ask the maker about it he is very very knowledgeable about the whole thing and very helpful with info - I can give you his contact info if you want?

The G3 box is still extremely old tech and very limited on inputs and outputs. It’s very low tech and imo not good for much other then a paper weight. It’s a step up from a dobec but not a good box at all. The BD box with electronic boost control, boost by throttle, tps input, control over secondary injectors and able to modify primary injectors, tuning left and right cylinders individually, boot controlled by a push of a button, most people don’t use the BD box in its simplest forum let alone open up what it can do in super tuner mode

I'll private message u his info

Todd i would listen to what ktm has to say. he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the boondocker controller.... its the only box capable of removing fuel from the stock injectors pre boost and it has some other features. If my boost it xic didnt work so dam good i would run a boondocker box as well.

I don't need fuel removed from my stock injectors - Bryce gave me a full tutorial on how to adjust my mapping and do data logging - the pain in the ass is taking my laptop with me to data log - I don't even know if my laptop will stay running with the lid closed - my biggest problem was the TSS mapping that came with my sled was dumping too much fuel at the bottom end and I didn't have a turbo blanket so my hood was turning into liquid hot magma - and i can't keep an 02 sensor in the damn thing - gonna try the koso 02 sensor bung adaptor - I think it's about 90% dialed now lol couple hot laps at eagle with my laptop hopefully should get it - then I'm just gonna tape it and send it

When you add a turbo you change the back pressure. When you have more back pressure you need less fuel. Being able to pull fuel from stock injectors makes the map so clean and it will spool so much faster. Etec is one of the hardest sleds to turbo if you are picky it takes good clutching and spot on fuel mapping to make it right. I switched etecs from the G3 box to the BD and it’s crazy how much you can gain low end and throttle response. The BD box modifies the tps signal to be able to pull some fuel from the stock injectors.

That's interesting -with the boondocker box are you able to adjust the mapping yourself with a laptop? - can they make me a custom map for my setup? - data logging?
