Hey guys looking for thoughts on what the best helmet is for winter quadding. Not my preference that’s for sure but my Sled helmet with goggles is too cold. Thanks

I snowmobile as well and on a sxs is a whole different ball game. Cold.. no engine heat at all. For years I have used a winter Mx style with goggles but guess I need to get a full face trail flip visor deal just haven’t had one before. Unfortunately I get need to go when it’s -20c sometimes.

CKX titan would probably work well for that application. I find them too restrictive for sledding but would be fine for sxs since you're never breathing hard from effort.

I never buy crazy expensive helmets for quadding since they are always getting banged around or full of mud. HJC helmets have worked just fine for me in winter but the visor is almost guaranteed to ice up on you. The solution to that was an electric visor that I could plug into my accessory. I haven't had to use it a lot but it worked like a charm when I did.

I sled and quad in 20 below its all in the deflector under the helmet, sometimes it's a struggle keeping goggles clear, but usually just if your sweating.heated goggles might be nice, I usually cook the goggles on the motor when I'm stopped.

I get that and I would do it if this was my machine however it may be 1 of 10 that I am bouncing between so that’s not going to work. Its not a regular thing but I have to be prepared for everybody else’s lack of preparation..
