mud lites seem to flex at the knobs and develop pin holes. mud lite xtrs are radial tires, good ride and good mud tire. haven't tried zilla tires, supposed to be good, lighter tire and good mud grip. mudbugs are a little rough on the gravel
I have 1400km on my mud lites and they are a great all around tire. If i was doing more mud bogging i would go with mud bugs. There have been a few times where i have wanted more aggressive tires.
mudzillas will be hard on u and the quad if you go much bigger then stock if you go that route make sure you put a clutch kit in if you dont already those tires maybe hard on the belt lots of low range riding IMO
Mud lites are a good all around tire, that have soft rubber on them, where vampires are a more aggresive tire, with hard rubber on them. It all depends on what your generally riding on or in. I know I put Mud Bitches on my Honda 500, which Mud Bitches are alot like the Vampires in that they are a hard aggresive tire, and my quad now will go through twice as much as what I used to with stock tires, but now because the aggresive tire I have lost alot in power. A harder rubber will never run out though. My buddy has Vampires on his old 500 Honda and has around lots of miles on the old beast, and the tires still have lots of wear left on them....
I'm running vampires on my honda 350. Got 3000k on them now and they seem to be holding up very well. Some people say they are rough on hard trails but i never noticed them at all, unlike the mudzillas i got on the grizzly which shake the crap out of you at speeds less than 10 k. IMO they probably are one of the best all around tire out there.
I've got the mudlites and I like them been in some spots where a little more tread might have helped but all around snow mud rocks and hard pack they are great. Have you about you looked into mud bugs I know my buddies that have them swear by them.
I had the vampires on my old quads. Loved them. They weighted a bit but i never had problems. I think i had close to 1800km on 2 different quads and they held up fine. still looked like 70% left when i removed them.
i got the 26 inch zillas on my kawi, seem to be able to go most places, farther than guys with mudlite xtrs IMO. have had them for 1500km and run 4 pounds of air, never blew a bead and ive hit a lot of stumps and other s**t. starting to show some wear now but that is becuae i use it around the yard on hard gravel and pavement about 70 percent of the time, and am quite har on the throttle. overall am very happy with them!
