The neighbor across the road uses one. Not the nicest finish but it works. I think it was his way to justify buying a quad to the wife. The same way we needed one to plow snow.

get a finishing mower for a lawn, works well. you can ajust blade height etc. a rough cut works for tall grass not for a lawn as such. finish mower will cost a little more at peavy mart than the rough cut. and yes there is a difference in the cutting performance.

Agreed on the finish mower, I have a rough cut swisher with break away blades and it is good for rough terrain and does the job but it ain't pretty. Much further ahead with a ride on mower.

I used to have one and towed it behind my quad. It worked well on straight aways, but if you have alot of things to go around or cornering, it becomes frustrating... It is also harder than it looks to keep the same miles per hour on a quad even in low.... so I traded it back in for a larger lawn tractor....just my two cents

We've got one of the quadivator ones that hooks in under the quad. It's a five blade 62" mower been using it for 5 years or so. Works pretty good. The tow behind is a swisher rough cut used for grass that is not the main yard. Not very good for a finish type mower.
