Motor Tech in Golden...Need more shops like this

Just wanted to post a huge thanks to Motor Tech in Golden for sourcing out my electrical problem Saturday evening just before closing time. I brought the T3 into them after the engine threw a rev limiter and no oil code out of the blue. Turns out the connection to the oil pump was installed incorrectly from the factory. One prong was bent and not making a proper connection. It took 750 kms to fail, luckily it was on the trail into Forester. Wrecked a day, but good have been worse, I've been deep back country a couple of times this season.

Should also point out, that 4:00 Saturday evening was the first time inside the shop doors. But, definitely won't be the last. Thanks again, Jordan, Jamie, Dave and Donna. Awesome service.

Nice to hear a dealer that is willing to help anyone riding there product regardless of where they bought it new or used. We don't get that here in Sicamous so wish they were closer.

For me h20 has over helped me many times, goes past duty and meets me on a Sunday morning to drop of my sled for warranty work

Free good parts if needed to get buy till what I need comes in



Guess it's who ya know.... Bought sled there last year, never spent a dime any other time

Mabe if ya act like a dink, u get treated like one too... Just saying

9 out of 10 guys don't buy there sled in Sicamous. Especially year after year there Tex. Once a donkey always a donkey! read between the lines. None of us regular folk need to polish someones prick to get some service on there ski doo there Tex. There is a reason for all the new shops in such a small place. I guess some folk will turn cheap tricks for service....not-me,guy sucks and his customer service is ****- say it how it is!

No different than a auto service dealer, booked a week in advance...
Have to wait a week to look at ur car too, even if it's warranty, driving through ect

The bread and butter is the people that come back, made an appointment for a week and are waiting to get in..

Yeah Motor tech is awsome. I had an injector go on the first day of a trip to revy. Being used to dealing with Turple Bros in Red Deer I expected the 2 week wait for service. Called motor tech and they said they would look at it as soon as I could get there. Showed up there at 11:30, barely had the sled unloaded off the truck and Jamie had me pull it in the shop. Worked non stop on it and had me all fixed up with a new injector and programmed by 2. I also had never spent a dime in that shop and spent a small fortune at Turples and recieve crap service. If my local dealer had half as good of service I would be quite happy. I am done with Turples and will try to buy my next one in Golden if they can match the price for sure.

H20 blows. Left us high and dry on a Saturday. Manage to make it down off mountain with bent a arm. They were just closing when we got there. Didn't need service just the a arm they had in stock. Pretty much told us to beat it cause they were closed. Unbelievable that ski Doo would keep their name on a dealer with such a bad rap sheet

Maybe it's just if you have white & red plates he's a dick....not the only business in that town to have that attitude.

motor tech does seem like a good dealer way better service then my local red deer dealer, fixed me up on the way through to revy last trip in an hour, fist time in there also. as for H2O never dealt with but don't hear a lot of good about them. If your only good to "who you know" you wont get many new customers and the way bad stories spread faster then good you would think new customers would really help. I know if I have problems in revy I'd travel back golden on reputation alone.

Keep telling yourself that. H20 sells nothing for sleds, you are most likely one of his few customers, now you need to wait a week for him to look at your sled-what a joke...seems suspicious.. close to Malakwa and all...

Another shop like this is Bowridge. Had a sled in there this morning for a fubar situation with gauges. Contacted Ken a couple weeks ago and he ordered gauge. I had never been in there before and guys in shop took care of in less than an hour this morning. They even thanked me for my buisness.
