Some of our best sled trips were when our plans got changed by the weather, and we explored different "smaller" riding areas.

I don't believe there are many folks (certainly not on this site) that would put too much faith in the weather making or breaking a sled trip (or quadding, fishing, camping, etc). Fact is...it just takes a little 'attitude-adjustment' and next thing you know, you're having one of the best trips ever!

I agree ESOX 100%.... some of the best trips are just playing in the meadows and trees and pounding the "pow" where you can SEE........ But if the forecast is right, Troutlake is gonna be a blast.... mostly sunny, with some cloudy periods and some rain Saturday.... Sorry, just had to get that jab in there(did it hurt???)

Consider the source...the weather channel. It's a 50/50 at best. Love it when the forcast is for rain and I'm looking out the window and it's sunny all day...not knocking the weather guys, but it is a "guess" at best.

My cousin just got back this morning,wet/crusty in treeline and 2+' on top. Was sunny most of the time but raining lightly when he left= more fresh on top.

HEY KGR: TROUT LAKE IS ABOUT AN HOUR SOUTH OF REVY ACROSS THE FERRY RIDE(SLEDBUNNY CAN WEAR HIS SKIRT ) EAST ON HWY 31 FROM GALENA BAY AND IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!! HAVEN'T BEEN, BUT SEEN LOTS OF PICS AND THE SNOW IS "BOASTED" AS BEING SOME OF THE "DEEPEST" IN ALL OF B.C.......... CAN'T WAIT...... YAHOO, LEAVING TOMORROW

weather canada is saying sun on saturday and cloudy on sunday.....so who is right? the only way to find out is to head up and cross your fingers i think. heading up tomorrow, so hoping it will be good!
