My brother wants to know if it is worth putting a long track on his 98 mach 1 The machine only has about 2300KM. He wants to install a 144 or 151. Does the suspension system have to be out of a ski-doo or can any make be made to fit. any sugestions would be helpful. THANKS

Depends on the type of riding he does.
If he's into the deep snow then the extended track will make a world of difference. Those Mach's have good power as well. I'm sure he would be very happy with the results.
I just extend a 700 RMK from 144 to 151..made a huge difference.

Rail extensions, tunnel extension and track are the way to go,no remounting suspension etc. This sled is not worth a pile of $$$ anymore, so it may be worth it to shop for good used parts. My 2 cents.
