Is the HCR ski better than just the M8 ski? I noticed the HCR ski has a higher heel and the curve at the peak is less pitched. Would that matter at all?

I have a HCR and my son has a snopro
I cant see the difference in handling much but I notice the snopro skis seem to stay on top of the powder a bit better
I would guess that the HCR is more set up for trail and hill climb and not for powder
but they both seem to go pretty much anywhere we want to go
Oh and they both seem to get stuck
