Just got my skid back in, can any one give me an idea of what to set the track tension at and where I should be checking it.

I asked the same question and no one would give me a straight answer. I finally just raised my sled up and let the track hang. I tightened it up till the track hung about 2-3" from the bottom of the rails. I think the only real way to know is to ride it and see how much noise it makes and adjust it on the mountain. I checked the manual and there wasnt anything in there either. Good luck

20 lb weight in the middle of the track 2" of room between the slider and the track is one option

the other option is run it as loose as you can with out it ratcheting

and I like the second option

Yeah I totally agree run as loose as you can without ratcheting.

Yup....especially if the front arm hasn't been relocated. The '05/'06 stock skid geometry tended to tighten the track as it compressed.

set mine close to this, 8kms later my 2 wheel axle was bent and so were the idler wheels. sled rode like a shopping cart also.

next ride set 3" sag with no pulling, new axle all was good.

installed amp relocate plates and now the sled rides way better.
