Got a couple general questions:

1. What is the part # for a cover for a 2007 M1000 162?
2. What clutch weights should I be running for an altitude between 1000-2000'?

the cover is a generic number for all m sleds. it will fit and as for the weights look on the panel inside the sled. it will have it there. if not then order the weights off a crossfire 1000 they will be good.

05-08 162" cover require part#5639-241 and usually under the hood on your air intake box there is a sticker indicating the clutching for various elevations! Hope that helps you out.

you should be running 85 gram weights forsure especially if your not going to change the stock 36 helix. i would recommend putting a steeper helix in like a 40. you could run the 046 belt but you might be over revs with the stock setup then you will have to up the weight. mine all stock with 85 grams seem to work fine and rev proper... that was using the 060 belt. im at 2200.

i have a set of 85 grams weights i can sell you. they are excellent shape. since i put on my slp exh and intake im running 80 grams and might try uppping the weight a wee bit more along with a stiffer spring. but there is no way ill get the proper revs with 85's and the helix and gearing i have. but i cant see myself using the 85's again.

Hey now! Don't talk so loose. Tunnel length changed in '08.
