I copied this from another snowmobile site, hopefully it will be of use here. This thread is intended to be a tuning and mod database for all Snow and Mud members. (hopefully it will be made a sticky)

Here is how it works:

Highlight the list below, copy and paste it into your reply, and fill out each field that applies to your sled.
let me know if there are any additional fields that should be added to the list.

Please keep your posts to the point. This thread could potentially get very long! if you have questions about a particular setup, please PM the member directly rather than posting here.

if this works well, we could start a suspension master list as also.

clutching: Gold/White primary spring, 75-85 adjustable weights, Dalton cr 38/46 helix's purple spring.

drive belt: ac

gearing: ratios, stock

top track speed: 130 km. any time.

peak rpm: 8200

dyno numbers: pretty good, don't really know.

the best mod i've done so far: boost

a mod or part that gave me some problems, and how i fixed it: Had a bad fuel controller that gave me a bit of grief, replaced it.

next mods i plan to add: _a new track


additional info: Went to a short charge tube this year and a new intake. Also took out the messy oil res and replaced it with a front mount "Hurricane" plastic oil tank with a really nice no-leak lid.
