I have a bud who just bought his first sled M 1000.He needs some help over the phone to get the track out so he can make repairs on the chaincase. The guy who owned it hit a rock and crushed the case up into the gears that are reverse. My friend has very good mechanical skills he just need the correct info to reduce the time and screwing around to get the job done.
If you can help him pm me please!
Its just a phone call,he will do the work!

To separate the diamond drive from the driveshaft you need to go in on the right side of the drive shaft with a very long extension & I believe its a 9/16 socket. Drive shaft is hollow inorder to access this bolt. I blew mine up & tried removing it on the side of a mountain but gave up & towed her home for warranty. Hope that works for ya cause thats how my dealer explained it to me.

What do you always say catmando??? Something about or like... Should have bought a POLARIS. I know this information isn't very useful, but I couldn't resist!

I would LOVE to take your cool sled for a ride sometime Rucky, it just makes your avatar ROCK:) You must be a top notch modder to have taken Grannies lawnmower and built it into the saawweeeet ride it is.My t-boed M1000 is weak in comparison, you are a God in the sledding world.

Way Way back I had a 600 sks and I jumped on my buddys 800,I thought I was on a rocketship. Now jumping off the 800 and onto my kingcat would be the same differance, big rocketship.Lastly the m 1000....bigger rocketship. You want to race him,you will need a shovel to dig yourself out of the snowbank he will bury you in....................LOL!
