that bites, i think this is one of the reasons people are looking for cheaper alternatives like the liuid image ego or even cheaper the sjcam. its like 4 for the price of a gopro 4

A small piece of string solves this problem of loosing these cameras. I now tether mine to my visor. It has un clipped twice somehow and I've snapped it off twice. After loosing one I decided .006 cents worth of string was a bit cheaper than a 400 dollar camera. Not to mention the potentially awesome footage I lost.... Oh well

I know the feeling of loosing a nice camera , so what I did for a tether after I got my new one is use this (at any fishing shop, ) ------- >one loop to the screw on the visor , and one loop to the bolt on the camera ! loop it under the visor so it don't rattle, and drive you Ape Sh^@ , and bam ~!~ instant tether that won't break.
