Loosing rpms on D8

Sled runs steady all day, until WOT, pulls only 8000 rpm for a short period, then drops to 7000-7200, if you hold throttle open sled will return to 7900-8000. Playing with throttle doesn't matter, running 66 grams at 2000 ft, checked both clutches, fuel doesn't seem to matter 91 or 88 octane, fuel pressure at 60 psi, exhaust valves are okay, newest, latest, greatest Pol fuel map. any ideas? thanx

yes, they found the problem at the shop today, rubbed out wire for the first trigger at the stator and a broken engine strap on the mag side, parts on order.
