little guy hide the key!!!!! Crap!

A friends little guy put took the key out mid summer, put it some where! Any way all you Cat guys can you bypass the key. 2006 M7

open ur hood and by the steering post theres a metal plate, take that off. then there should be a 3 prong clip, pull it apart and bend the middle one out so that wen u plug it back in it doesnt go back in, pretty sure its the purple one....if that makes any sense lol. had to do it once went on along road trip and forgot my key at home.

It's has to be open.

open is in-complete circuit
.So cutting one wire should do the trick. On the back of the key/ignition.

Depends on your definition of open vs. closed.
to me :
open is in-complete circuit
closed is complete circuit

i would just go to arcticcat and get a new key i had to get one for my sled take your vin tho or they wont be able to help you

I spent lots of time this fall looking for the keys hubby supposedly gave me to put away in the Spring...he found them exactly where he left them ;)
