Possible yes...

suggested, no...I think it would be too sticky for the sled, and too slippery for the dude staning on top of the deck...

Thoughts based on the box of my truck only, no experience...

I will second that.
Before i bought my Marathon, running my sled into the box of my truck was a mini adventure. Either I would run it in nice and easy, or once the carbides bit, it would stop it on a dime.

We have Line X on the entire floor/ramp of our enclosed trailer. I would never do any thing different after having it. I would think it would work great except if you have sides that slide out. It might be alittle thick and bind...maybe.

I say go with the LineX. I have had it on various surfaces. It gives descent traction. It is tough as nails. You can add extra grit to it if you feel that it would be too slippery. I don't find it too slippery at all. In fact, I think it improves traction. It also has a lifetime warranty, if you damage it, free touch ups. Not sure if all dealers offer the lifetime warranty, but mine did.

I have had a few customers put spray in liners on the trailer floors, walls and absolutely love it but none of them are snowmobilers. How does the LineX or Armorthane etc... stand up to our carbides?? Do you have to run a Super Glide or another product to protect it?

My friend Line-X'd his sled deck and it worked great. The only place the carbides did any damage is at the corner of the plywood where you come on to the deck. Just some small nicks taken out. If this area had been beveled first it probably would have been fine. They can control the texture when they spray it on.

The only downside was that it caused the plywood on the sliding sides to curl some at the free corners (Marathon deck). I'm guessing it was because the top surface stayed dry and the bottom could still get wet and expanded.

Line-X is expensive too and you have to watch as some of the dealers will give you a coat so thin you can almost see through it (Armadillo Calgary). It doesn't have to be thick like some of the crap coatings to work but should be thick enough to absorb a hit. Make sure you get your moneys worth.

True, I think it was $4500.00 to do the trailer
