You can change out the Silencer, the SLP one will shed Approx. 15lbs @ a cost $300.00. Then you can put in the High Flow Air Box loss Approx. 12lbs @ a cost $375.oo. That is 2 ways to loss a quick 27lbs. But cost a few $.:d But well worth the loss in weight.
you could buy the updated front end. you loose a couple pounds and get a real bumper. you could also buy some new spindles. most aftermarket and the new polaris ones are alot lighter then your stock ones.
if you mountain ride strictly your idlers can go, fox floats will drop some weight out of your front end. pul all your foam out. theres always weight to be lost in your skid. it really depends on your budget. if you could give us an idea of how much you wanna spend we could give you better answers
Thanks for the ideas so far. At the moment I dont have very much spare cash, so right now I am looking for cheap ways to lighten it, next year I'm looking at spending a bit more on it. I also plan on stretching the track next year, probably to a 159. And ya it is mostly only mountain riding
I had to put on 20 pounds so I could ride my 900 last winter.....this year another 10 lol. now I can tell her where to go instead of it wanting to go where it wants to go. lol it liked the 200 pound rider. this is a good excuss for weight gain right lol. every pound I gain is one less I need to take of the sled to control it lol. I know bad joke lol
Hahaha I will try telling that excuse to the boyfriend...now if he doesn't like it I will send him to you. But at 110 lbs i cant really afford to lose any, so I like the idea of gaining some
