leaky oil tank

My sons 99x is leaking from around one of the brass nuts that are molded into the tank. Anyone know what I can put on or around it to stop it? It is a very little amount but all the same it makes a mess.

If my memory serves me correct, there is a rubber bung in the tank and the oil hose fitting is pushed into the rubber gromet. You could replace the gromet. If it is a fitting coming out of the tank, then there is most likely a jam nut on the backside of it inside the tank that may have come loose... Hope this helps you.

Your correct, I've had to change mine when I still had the 670.

That is the first thing I would check out.
