I've rode my sled at Midnight before bro. That's pretty late.

That's the latest you can get any later and your early! Lol. April is pushing it for Alberta but you should be able to get a ride in.

I live in Grande Prairie and you can sled in the mountains south of town till May 1 then that area closes. But you can still travel to tumbler or beaver creek. The latest right around Grande Prairie is April.

Like Got boost said Joey, but Hasler is a better place to ride if you come this way for a spring ride. Hasler is great for spring because the old road to the trailhead has a big elevation increase and it is solid rock so as the snow melts you can keep chasing the snowline. I've rode there in June before so you will be fine for a bunch of riding at the end of April and May. You will probably be ok with a trailer for the end of April and part of May, but you will need a deck for late May early June or you will sled the gravel for a ways, there is no place to turn a trailer around when you drive to the snow line. I don't know about Tumbler's access during spring (never rode there), but the Beaver Creek access loses its snow pretty early.

PM me if you need someone to show you the area and if I'm not working I'll give you a guided tour.

thanks guys! I dont have a trailer hahaha just my truck but its 4x4 so im not terribly worried about roads. once we were going sledding so I had mine in my truck, towing my dad's trailer with two more on it, and my sister's dakota had one on too, but it was a 2wd 4 cyl so we tied a chain to her and I pulled her up too with that sled on. 4 sleds and a pickup truck hahaha got some funny looks on the way up

July first every year here in Fernie and that's backing up to the snow. We ride till early/mid june without much of a dive, and can still wonder around. in july we have one bowl that we go to and we mostly climb the few good lines left.
