I was never happy with the cat that I had airbrushed on my hood and I finally killed it and will never hear any more comments like.."It looks like a Velvet Painting" or "As long as you like it"........Well I dont and I drilled a bunch of holes in it and put it out of its misery thanks to a reply to sledbunny on a earlier thread putting in screen kits it gave me a great Idea!
Bye Bye Ugly Cat LOL!

Nice airbrush skills, although the vent and screen looks much rougher, give it a 10 outta 10 for style and function, ill be incorparating some of that this summer.

Where is the screen from? Or how did you make it?

It is part of the screen kit for that hood,Rory sell the kit at pure addiction motor sports.
You can also get them made.

You should consider getting a small brush and painting the rivet heads black or orange.

Does the sled have enough venting to allow all the air to flow out the back or side. Looking at the angle of the new vent and considering there are holes cut behind the screen fabric I do not believe there will be much more venting except at a stand still when the heat will rise. At any speed above 10 mp the factory vents with the "cheese grater/scoop" fins will grab significantly more air.

Just my thoughts.

Appreciate your comments but heat isnt an issue,It was more a cosmetic thing to kill the kitty!

Good job.. nice creative and functional fix :) If memmory serves me correct, I was the one who called that cat graphic a Velvet Painting? Sorry  Anyhow... it may have been a cheaper fix to paint over it with a picture of Elvis?? :twocents:
