So had a whoops and took the red button off the kill switch. Skidoo wants $85 for the dam thing, there has to be a aftermarket replacment for half that cost.

Ski-Doo doesn't sell just the red button either, have to change the whole switch. In a pinch the red button off a rev fits the kill switch base on the XM.

Gesh, i have a red switch sitting on my truck dash....Those drifts are more vertical in the fog....Over bars abd head first into snowbank,,,, Hahaha

Broke mine and dealer had no problem giving it too me on warranty.

Tech jumped on my deck and had it fixed in five minute......

I love that bumper to bumper warranty.

They want 85$ because it comes with the whole switch not just the red part. Pretty dumb you can't just buy the red part I've lost my share of those aswell

I still can't believe you found it in all that powder.

I like the Moto switch idea with it on all the time. Big fan of leaving it on for when an Avy just pops by surprise, one less thing to getting your sled started

You guys don't unscrew the switch and turn it, so it face the front of the sled? First thing I do when I buy a new sled every time.

First thing I do to my new skidoos, maybe they will change the design one day. Ebay fly kill switch, $60 deliver to the door. Easy install. Just gotta press and hold little longer. But it's recessed and will never give you any problems again

I ended up on the hood more with it pointed like that than in the stock position. On the older kill switches I put an O-ring under the switch so you had to hold it down. On my XM I have the switch rotated 180* from where it is in the stock position.

I really like this set up, just spliced in a dirt bike switch.
It fits nicely, doesn't ice up like the stock switch and no more unwanted shut downs!!

Somebody with a 3d printer could make some easy money selling the button for 20 bucks
