Costco has their HEAD brand kids mittens/gloves out. This is the brand of mittens we have used for the last 2 years out sledding with our kids and have found them to be the best at keeping the kids hands dry and warm. What we do is get a pair of those cheap $1.00 pair of knit mitts and put those on then the HEAD mitts then the jacket. Don't pull the kids hands all the way through the jacket if you are using a backpack like we did because that offers another layer of warmth. On the really cold days or for smaller kids that don't move around alot these mitts have a pocket on the outside that you can put a hot pocket in. We learned that when you put the hot pocket in the mitt it gets way too warm against the childs skin.

So their you have it go and stock up!!! We just bought 3 pairs for each kid!
