For those interested.
Tomorrow. Saturday Aug 13, 2022.
Leaving Gateway Park, (Edmonton) at 10am. And driving to Nordegg Alberta. To Miner's Cafe, for some really good pie. And fuel up in Nordegg (286kms). Then will head to Cyn City Saloon in Cynthia, Alberta, for dinner (kids welcome there). (168kms). Then back to the city. Haven't decided if highway 16 or Highway 39. (165kms).
Hope to see a few out there.

From Cynthia down to rocky rapids then through tomahawk then right on 627 / garden valley road to Devon highway is a great ride. Cyn City is real slow took 1.5 hrs for 4 hamburgers last Sunday. We decided not to eat there anymore. Food is good but service is way to long.

That's disappointing it took that long
Looks like a cool place. I've never been there before.

Nice. Guess we'll see what time we get out of there at.
I've done 39 from Drayton to Leduc before. It is a nice drive.
Never been to tomahawk. So maybe

You can leave Cynthia heading south then turn onto 621 the double back through DV to hwy 39 then just turn on the tomahawk highway 759, that’s about 10 minutes after the bridge over North Saskatchewan river. Head to tomahawk then About 5 minutes past tomohawk is 627. That is a beautiful highway with hills and way better than yellow head. Will go all the way past keephills all the way to highway 60

You weren't kidding on slow service.
Poor girl. Works the front, and the kitchen. Probably could use some help.

Can also do HWY 39 for a stop at the Sunnybrook hotel along the way.
