If the hull isn't hammered to hell and the motor is good that is a very good deal. Personally I never liked the merc 2 strokes in the small sport boats, they sound like crap, vibrate, burn alot of fuel and stink but they are light two guys can get them unstuck from almost anywhere.

Nailed it. Much more fun with a smallblock.

Looks like a great starter boat....I too can't stand the sound of 1000 bumble bees chasing you. But it is light and easy to push.

Sweet...what you buying and which rivers do you plan on running? I just got my dream family boat a couple weeks ago. Patiently waiting for open water.

I owned one. They are freaking loud. Even with ear plugs and a helmet they are freaking loud. However you can't beat the HP to weight ratio of this engine. That little boat will be quick, nibble and easier to get off the bank or sand bar when crap goes South than having a V-8 or V-6 in it. That's the thing about jet boats you always sacrifice something. There is no perfect boat.
