Depends what you want to do with it, I've never ridden in one, seen a few on the rally's, can't say I'd ever consider one as I use my sxs for 100% play.

Electric dump beds a cool feature
Diesels got lots of power, dont really go to fast and have stiff suspension

Oops took a while to get back here!
My dad just bought the gator, its actually pretty cool. he put a lift on it with some nice rims and mud tires. also has the full cab on it with a heater inside.
your right it doesnt go very fast but i was amazed by the stuff we got through with that thing. it just crawls like a tractor. really cool. definitley not good if your lookin to go fast tho. but i think id rather cruise in a gator rather than a rhino or somethin like that. too many people get hurt drivin like idiots
