Brand new? I think I paid close to 300.00 for mine a couple of years ago ( I bought some extra's with mine, batteries, mounts, etc)
The contour GPS is running around 300.00 now, 138.00 doesnt seem too bad to me though, can't really go wrong for that price.

Yes, that is brand new and it comes with....
  • Uses a removable lithium-ion battery with a record time of up to 3 hours that can be recharged via USB to computer charger included in 4 hours- Wall chargers sold separately
  • Included in the box are your ContourHD 1080p camcorder, a 2GB MicroSD memory card, goggle mount, flat surface mount, rechargeable battery, and USB cable
I'm thinking I should have a new twist to my videos this winter and little bit of helmet cam might not be a bad thing.

I noticed the Contour GPS and it was $300.

I'm definitely happy with mine. I tried it wakeboarding this summer, gives a different perspective for sure. I need to figure something different out for angles though :) You must have seen these on ebay, I see they have a couple packages on there for that price.

It was on backcountry.com and I found that through Steep and Cheap.

I didn't order for anyone else but here is the link.....you may require a US postal outlet.

contour Hd 1080p from Backcountry.com

Oh, okay, I ordered some hiking boots from them before, no isues shipping to Canada...OTHER than they use UPS ( seriously took it up the tail pipe on the shipping/brokerage fees) I never did ask them if they could ship via USPS

Ya' that UPS is a pita!

I sure like living closer to the border and that Montana shipping address is great. I haven't had to pay any taxes on things under $200 yet! I'm thinking they can't be bothered collecting taxes for the smaller/cheaper things.

I live close, but rarely want to take the time to go down there to pick things up. I need to retire, that idea seems perfect.

Register quibids and buy some bids there, learn the system. I got one from their site for $14.68 shipped to my door, you might not get that good of a deal but if you spend the time and with some luck it is possible. I know have a 1080p and a GPS so this year should be fun recording with two at the same time...

I hear ya'. Well, that's all fine and dandy but with the price of toys I found I had to work in the summer to support the winter habit and all I can afford is "one habit"; not boating, or very much quading, or skiing, or fancy travel, or whatever.

I like my life; a little construction work in the nice weather and all winter to doo S&M, ride and make videos. As it ways on a decal on the back window of my truck, "My life is better than your Vacation!"
