I didn't hear anything about this at the West Country Stakeholders Meeting but that don't mean anything. They have a hard on for random campers and they only way to control this is to make these areas available for private enterprises to open campgrounds to accommodate all the users.....it's coming to an area near you

maybe if all the free campers would pick up their garbage and take their pos trailers and campers home with them at the end of the weekend it wouldn't be coming to this.
not saying it is any peeps on here specifically but a huge majority of the free campers out there are leaving their crap behind,garbage,empties,old campers,trailers etc. these things are the one and only reason for the push to close free camping.
just sayin.

Got the toy hauler and all quads/bikes up for sale while they are still worth something.Might keep the prowler for plowing snow but that will probly also be illegal by next winter.

Lol, aside from all fun being banned from alberta I believe if you check SRD's website that the big horn trails are open year round in the main part.

I will look into it, last i heard the Joyce Creek trail was quite wet..also, after the idiots tore the crap out of the muskegs (off trail) last year, there is talk of closing the area!! PLEASE people, if you see someone riding where they're not supposed to...take their pic and report to RCMP, or the fish cops..they WILL persue charging them!! It's coming down to the wire...
