Where: EVERYWHERE there is snow.
Why: Because our sport is AWESOME.. and so are we. We are growing our sport in a responsible way, and pushing back at those who are trying to shut us down. How about NO we won't stand by idle and silent anymore...

It may be one day.. But a Movement has started.....

Great article Trish. I'm all up for getting newbies into the sport, weather it's lending a friend one of my sleds when we go for a rip around home, or taking a buddy out west for the first time. I think it's an experience everyone should have at least once in there life. I've been bugging my wife for the past few years that she has to come out west with me and our boys and I'm sure she would fall in love with it. As I mentioned in the edmonton sled show thread, I was going to introduce her to the betties when we go and I'm sure they could help convince her. Keep up the great work Trish.

So far The Betties Powersports Network and Team Thunderstruck are teaming up for a Newbie Ride in Golden to celebrate the day.

I'm hoping to Grab Tina Thomas for our Ride in the Nelson Area for our Main Jet, Betties PSN, ride. Polaris is so on board with extra demo units for our store and other stores.

Stephy Schwartz is also planning a ride.. I'll in the loop you her plans as well.

Dragon Diva and Bruces RV/Polaris have a Newbie ride happening in Golden too I believe.

Haa haa.. I try and try to ignore Willy, I'm POSitive his comment was a little jab antagonistic PITA kind of thing, but it really does bring up a good point. Make sure your Newbie enjoys their ride. Make it a win type situation so they leave feeling happy. If we take them into terrain that is too technical, it will do nothing for their confidence.

Here here!! I'll be hosting a day down here in the States.. Spokane area of Washington state.

I have a few people interested in getting out with me. I dunno that it will be a big group ride so much as each person responsible for taking their newbie out!! My BF's little sis wants to be my newbie but I've already taken her so I had to find another and maybe I'll get my hands on a sled for her so she can tag along with us... I'm making plans with a local rock climber to do some trade trade lemonade since I don't know the rock in the Spokane area yet!! Whoo-hoo!

Make sure you're newbie is educated, safe and has a great day!! the point is not to just randomly take someone but to REALLY showcase the sport and weather or not they get hooked on it have them end the day knowing it's a great sport filled with great people doing NOT such evil things! hahahhahaha
