We have a 2006 M7 153", that had a bit of a wipe out a few weekends ago... Bent a rail, sits about 1/2 an inch high on 1 side than the other. We picked up another set of rails from a fellow S&M'er, but they are from an 2008 M8 153". Most holes appear to look the same but 1.

Will it comprimise the rails if we drill a new set of holes?

Or, are these rails inter-changeable?

Thanks in advance... :d

measure the distances of the holes on the rails for the swing arms the front ones are the important ones if the rear are close try it , weight transfer it what will change with the rear holes , drilling should not weaken the rails
