Installing Vents

I got a bunch of mountain fit hood vents. Should i use a sealer behind the vents before i pop rivet them? I know it couldnt hurt but i have to go buy some and it will make the install that much longer haha

well no one replied but learned one thing. never use aluminum rivets with vents......warped the sh*t out them. got some plastic ones and worked out great.....cutting the sled sucks and i know why people just drill a bunch of holes.

still havent installed the stirrup vents but i dont think i will...... dont want to cut the nice stock aluminum dash

Sorry for the later reply but we've never used any type of sealant behind them and have had no issues.
