I bought a Atacc for my 04 King cat and after reading the directions a few times i'm still really unsure about the install and don't feel comfortable trying to do it, this is my first carb sled and well i'm still learning how to jet. I've phoned Echo cycle about installing and they wanted $300 to install, and another placed wanted $80 an hour and they didn't know how long it would take? They said it could be over 3 hours  Does anyone know of a good place to get it done for a reasonable price? Or someone willing to install in their garage that knows how for cash in the Edmonton area?

We should get together, I'm sorta in the same boat, have the Atacc but am unsure exactly how to install...it always costs more to fix the mistake than do it right.

then again that is sometimes the best way to learn!!!

I wouldn't mind learning how, but seeing as I don't even know how to jet the sled I don't think I want to try. I mean i've got tons of pics from someone who installed it on the same sled but still don't feel to confident. sledbunnyracing maybe we could find someone on the weekend to do both of ours and they could make some good cash. I'd have no problem paying someone like $150-$200 to do it if it's done right, and would be a plus if I could watch some and learn how to jet the sled.

Thanks cey800 for the PM...appreciate your offer...we gotta meet one day, just to say we did.

kennyblatz, if you and cey800 could post a few photos, that would be awesome.

Cyle, changing jets is a piece of cake, but the ATACC is really nice, know a few guys running them and they really like it...no jetting.

Never done an atacc install, but i've seen them on a demo in a showroom.... Not much too them, just time consuming. Once you get the basic jetting set, shouldn't have to ever rejet again. No instructions??

I just got one installed on my '00 MMax 700 at Absolute Power in St. Albert...it cost me a little over 300 for the install, but was totally worth it because they found some other problems with my jets that I would have missed...

Here's some pics i've found of the install, from a 04 KK. The more I look at the pics the more I want to try and do it myself, just don't want to end up not knowing not to finish it :(

Those pictures are perfect. My Polaris air box doesn't split that easy. The install is very simple, just don't shorten any of the hoses.

I hear that this is critical and also ensure that the line to carb vents are sloping toward the carb ( carb is downhill ) and drains into the carb ( dont have a high loop in the line ). The instructions talk about the do's and the don'ts. The only thing I don't like is that if the Attacc fails (vaccum leak etc. ) - it goes to lean mode according to some write ups I have read. Once it is installed correctly - everyone loves it that have it

Finally went ahead and just started installing this. I cannot believe how easy it is. Only had about 45 mins to work on it, and it is nearly done. Another 30 mins and it will be all in. Cannot believe I was considering paying someone $300 to install this
