I have a 2001 summit 800 I’m a bit confused on which chasse I have? It’s the sport edition. And as well I’m wanting to install a 5"handle bar riser in which I have bought throttle cable extensions and brake cable extensions for. But the electrical cables are to short any suggestions would be appreciated thanks a bunch!!

If it is the type of Chassis you are wondering about that would be the ZX Chassis. Depending on how high you are going with the bars you may be able to re-route the electical and achieve the desired length. If now look into possible plug in electrical extensions or manufacture you're own.

You should be able to make it work without electrical extensions,I have a 6" riser and another 4" rise in my bars and only had to get brake and throttle extensions ,maybe u might have to re route wiring harness under your console a little.Sounds like the ol ZX chassis are the running board edges round or are they a little flatter if round it is a 00-01 awesome sleds,still run an 01 myself ,I just had to put her on a strict diet of Boss seat,lexan hood no headlight ,bezel,windshield,and the list goes on ............
