I ride a 2008 M1000 and I was wondering how the viper is going to feel compared to that? Thanks

Haven't ridden a viper. But my proclimb is a way better feeling machine Then an m chassis. Anyone that says otherwise hasn't spent much time on one. I can't imagine the viper would feel to much different. Leaps and bounds ahead of the old chassis.

I prefer the M9000 proclimb over the Viper, much better feeling and suited machine for mountains.
The radiator on the nose is a huge downer for the Viper's, very noticeable compared to the Cat non radiator chassi.

they have come along way with the new VIPER and riding a Polaris I almost switched just dont know anyone that has one that I could have tried out. guys at shop told me must put a turbo on it for the mountains. so stuck with Polaris.
Let us know what you get.

Both are tanks and underpowered for how much they weigh. Viper will trail down nicer though at the end of the day.

Like was suggested get a ride on one, definatly recommend the turbo. That way you form your own opinion and let the hater hate. JMO
