Yes it does. Very smooth and easy tuning for flat land or mountain riding.

Ya them polaris clutches are just wonderful, Takes twice the time to make fine changes to the P-85, could get an amazing 200 km out of rollers, and then you get to put a new outer crank throw on in a 1000 km, and a secondary cause the primary brakes off and plays pong in your engine compartment. Good for the shop that sells this combination of clutches though theres profit to be made lol. The team clutch i like though. Good thing for all of you is I have all the polaris clutch tools and the polaris clutch tool remover for the skidoo crank for sale. From now on im staying with the only polaris part that i think is better than the skidoos, the mountain bar:d

Mine was set up right pulled perfect RPM, up shifted and backshifted well and due to the primary being 3 pounds lighter it made the sled feel like it had super reeds cause the throttle response was quite a bit better. I know i wasn't the only one with problems with the P-85, when i took my new outer crank throw into Mots to get pushed onto my crank he asked me what i had on it for a clutch, when i said P-85 he sorta grinned and said at least your not the only one, mine was the fifth one he had did cause of the P-85 last year and it was just early january.( great service from him he did it for me that day so i could be riding for the weekend). From what he said he thought that the shop that was selling the clutch didn't have the taper cut at a perfect angle and this was what was causing the clutch issues. By the way this was on an RT 1000 with the crank counter balancers on it which takes the viberation out of these motors. All i know is it was an expensive learning experiance.

Pretty sure the P-85 cause the problem. Between the two RTs we had in are group we got 8000 km on the good old TRA 3 and ive since got another 1500 since the rebuild on the TRA 3 and i made it a 1000 km on the P-85 had it off the sled five times just to replace rollers like I said then it was ping pong clutches.

I feel mots has it right with in proper taper cut for the doo. I know where my clutch came from and im pretty sure most of the guys running this setup got theres from the same place (not mentioning any names). Im glad theres is working fine for them, but i will never do it again. I also think that with the clutch being so much lighter then the TRA it creates bad hamonics on the doo engines. Just letting every one know cause this was not a cheap lesson for me, and as maxwell said the TRA are being made to work just as well.
