So my mind is made up , I'm walking away from a poo and gonna ride a doo . Anything I need to know ? I'm use to holding it to bar outta the box with a bit of oil in the tank . Any info on what I need to learn about these new XMs/doo . Dos and donts?

Should I break it in with the half throttle crap or can they handle breaking it in by how I'm gonna ride all the time ... Pinned from the start .

Mine got the throttle chopped on and off till the allen creek cabin for break in.......been to the bar ever since....lol

If it's a new Doo, check track tension after 20km and be ready to tighten it. Other than that just giver.

it may take you a while to get used to the less flickable chasis and your probably going to be very tired from having to muscle this thing over on its side all day as well.

That's good. Baby steps. A year maybe 2 and you'll be ready for the next step, unless you're one of those slow kids like Maxwell :)

there should be no reason to hold it to the pin all day unless,

1 you ride a short track and it just dumped
2 you are a ch!t rider and don't know how to use the throttle
3 you ride a 15 wide

Other then that throttle control is your friend and that means on and off all day long which is standard break in.

Enjoy your XM, I doubt you will need to pin it all day.

Just remember. Brand new machine means brand new belt. Still need to break in belt.
