Just got it today. Initial impression is that the build quality is great, just like the rest of KLIM's gear. It comes with spare cheek pads (20mm and 25mm), spare visor, spare hardware for visor, summer and winter liner, nose guard for cold weather and a sweet helmet bag.

I will let the pictures do the talking.

I will be testing it out this weekend and will keep you posted on how it turns out.

The main reason i didnt buy a new sled was because I needed gear. I wanted to get all the safety gear/good quality stuff. I figure pay a bit more now and save later.

Definitely wouldnt be dropping cash like this if i was married, at least not without some begging:whipped:

Mounted my helmet camera on the visor. That way i can adjust the pitch a little bit to get the right view of the horizon. This is a fully self contained helmet camera, doesnt require an external recording device. Nothing high end, cost 100 bucks from ebay.

Hey Lococoin, I am also interested in the Klim Helmut. Thanks for the pictures, it looks great. Because I have a large brain (big head), I am wondering how its fits. Did you order your regular size of helmut and how did it fit? I would have to order 2 or 3 XL.

just go to martin equipment and try it on. Although i dont think they have any bigger than XL. They may bring some in though.

i take a large normally and thats what i bought. I had to put in the skinnier cheek pads due to my chiseled jawline:D:D

Tested the helmet on the weekend, worked flawlessly absolutely no complaints. I apparently ride with my head down a bit so i need to shim up my helmet camera. Did get some great shots of the snow right in front of the sled though:p
