I have a 2000 summit 700. and there is 2 filters right by the gauges. ones on the left and ones on the right. They keep getting covered with snow and the sled starts running like crap when this happens. but right when you clean them off it runs fine again.

does anyone else have this problem?

any solutions to this problem?

thanks:beer:

X2 plus on my 2000 summit I took a hole saw to the empty gauge spot and put one of those SLP breather buttons in to help. seemed to work ok

a doo dealer may have a sock that'll fit over your filter foam. Might be able to modify the intake sock for the Rev to fit.

I put 2 of the slp breathers in mine, I also don't run windshields so I find it stays alot cleaner

SLP has a valve that will open up and let in air to an air box when the vaccume gets too high due to blocked filters. It is in their doo section on their web page and they are pretty cheap. Looks like a peice of tin from the pic but it works well.
