I bought a 2009 T-Cat ... non current. I love it! The power is crazy, I can leave Stripes on the asphalt in my subdivision. However the battery keeps lossing its charge. I have charged it numerous times and it still craps out. I swapped out the battery from my Father inlaw's Honda 450 (it is a smaller battery) and the same issues arise. If anyone has experienced the same please advise what the remedy might be? I have full warranty but would rather fix the issue myself instead of taking it in to the dealer.

Thanks, Scotty.

Oviously something is staying on after you turn off the key, take a meter and find out how much draw is occurring while the key is in the off position. I would think that you may have a wire that is just barely going to ground should be fun to find!

make sure all wires tight and clean. Buddy with a 700 AC had same problem and went through 3 batteries before seeing the starter wire loose. Tightened it up and never dead again. I know it doesnt make sence but thats what it did.

Thanks for the input. I will check the wiring to the starter.... Try the meter as well. Is there a higher cranking amp battery for the T-Cat as it is a big engine to turn over???

Thanks, Scotty.

She's an 09 with a factory battery???

Lose the battery, go to who ever, or (Terry @ TTPowersports) and get a new one.
I had an 08 700 Cat with the same problem. Disconnect the on board clock.
Once that is done, you'll never have a problem again, with the charging system :D

i would get a odessey or a deka.. they are superior dry cell batteries and last 3 times as long as any one of those stock batteries..after you do your homework on these batteries, its a no brainer to go dry cell.. check in to it.. they are incredible batteries! Do not waste yur money on another stock battery.

Lets get this straight.....you have full warranty but would rather pay for it yourself?
