looking to put into my 08 f350 6.4 , dealer said they have been testing and had good results for fuel milage and some power increase , any stories either way , leaving my exhaust stock

save your money untill you do a dpf delete.
i ran the super chips cortex in my 08 for about 55k
better power and mileage for the first 15-20k
better power same mileage as stock for the next 20k
little better power and way worse mileage for the last 15k till i pulled the DPF and went custom tuning,
but if you pull alot or run your truck in the city you wont ever see the mileage increase, to get more power you need fuel and with more fuel brings more regens.
imo the cheeper dpf delete kits out there are only a couple hundred more than the generic chips that are out and they are way better for the motor.
with the dpf delete you wont have anymore fuel dilution of your engine oil (ever wondered why you oil level grows between changes)
lets the motor breathe like it should
shuts off alot of sensors that might leave you parked or cause limp mode
and the more expencive dpf delete kits out are untracable at ford (spartan, h&s, KEM)
some ford dealers are installing and warrantying your truck with the edge dpf delete as long as you pay them to install it and you leave it in if you have a issue.
sorry for the long post but once you pull that filter and put some good tunes in it you will have a whole new truck thats way more fun to drive.
